365 Days of Pattern: Day 34
My great grandmother used to take care of us when we were little. While I have many memories of her pork chops and watching Roadrunner cartoons on her tiny old console TV, I have one distinct visual memory of a shirt she had that always looked to me like potatoes. It was a dark fabric, with beige oval or paisley-ish shapes scattered across. The light bits had a darker brown layered on top, with a bit of an offset the way spot color printing often has. This doodle isn’t quite the same, but once I thought of it I couldn’t resist a potato pattern — however boring it may seem.
